A Line in the World Receives Its First US Pre-Publication Review
Dorthe Nors’ latest book A Line in the World has received its first US pre-publication review in important trade magazine Publishers Weekly. Here is an excerpt:
“The rugged and ever-shifting coastline, which Nors paints as harsh and unforgiving but not without beauty. […] One of the most memorable entries is ‘The Timeless’, which sees Nors and her friend Signe Parkins […] explore frescoes in coastal churches; when asked at one church if theyʼre there to see the paintings, Nors answers, ‘Weʼre on a kind of quest for things that transcend time.’ Norsʼs portrait of her connection to a landscape both ‘harsh and mild’ enchants.”
A Line in the World will be published in the US on November 1st by Graywolf.
