Åsa Avdic Awarded Natur & Kultur’s Working Scholarship 2023

Åsa Avdic has been awarded Natur & Kultur’s working scholarship 2023. Out of 550 applications, 16 were chosen, each winner receiving 100 000 Swedish crowns.

Per Almgren, Managing director at Natur & Kultur, says the following in a press release:

“It is exiting to see the breadth of themes and choices of subject in the large number of scholarship applications. Through the scholarship, we want to contribute both to more reading experiences and to more authors and perspectives being able to take place in literature and in the public discourse.”

Åsa Avdic’s latest novel, One More Life, was published by Albert Bonniers Förlag on August 18th.
