Blaze Me a Sun in rave review from Stavanger Aftenblad
Christoffer Carlsson’s latest book Blaze Me a Sun received a rave review from Norwegian news paper, Stavanger Aftenblad:
“The storytelling is lingering and reflective and the author uses the crime genre to explore what has happened in Sweden during previous years. The new Sweden, carrying so much anger towards politicians and immigrants, and burdened with a lot of crime. How has this come about? Emotions and morals are central to the plot along with the big issues of guilt, atonement, justice and forgiveness. The relationship between father and son Jörgensen becomes a turning point of sorts, and the story takes on many twists and turns before the truth is finally revealed. It is dark and existential, well thought out and brilliantly executed.”
Blaze Me a Sun was published in Norway on March 25th by Gyldendal.
