Eva Tind Nominated for ‘Jyllands-Posten’s’ Literature Prize
Eva Tind and her acclaimed novel Min Kim have been nominated for the prestigious Jyllands-Posten’s Literature Prize of 2025 in the category ‘Literary Fiction’, alongside Helle Helle and Theis Ørntoft, amongst others. The prize was established in 2022, and aims to support authors and new Danish literature.
The motivation for the nomination reads as follows:
“With [Min Kim], Eva Tind focuses on a subject that is both sensitive and significant. She writes with fury and indignation, and with an earnest grief which spreads to the reader. The book is a strong contribution to the debate about transnational adoption and the many dilemmas – human, ethical and legal – that characterize it.”
The winner is decided by a jury as well as public vote, and will be announced on October 2nd during an award ceremony, where the winner will receive 150.000 DKK.
Min Kim was published in Denmark by Gyldendal on October 10th, 2024.
