Frida Skybäck Interviewed by Swedish Sydsvenskan

Following the release of Frida Skybäck’s highly anticipated novel In the Shadows, Skybäck did an interview for Swedish newspaper Sydsvenskan regarding secret societies and her new book. Here’s an excerpt:

“[…] when there is a selection of who is allowed to become a member in order to make them feel special, and they take a vow of silence and loyalty to each other, it can become a breeding ground for unhealthy values. The society might attract people who are interested in gaining advantages and exploiting positions of power. There are many examples of that, [Skybäck says].”
