Kaja Nygaard Interviewed by Norwegian Newspaper

Kaja Nygaard, whose new novel A Stronger Faith was recently published in Norway, has been interviewed by Norwegian newspaper Kapital. In the interview, she spoke about the themes of the novel, such as religion and how the Stavanger milieu plays an important role in the book. Here’s a peak into what she had to say:

“It took me a while to realize how important religious affiliation actually is here. If someone in Stavanger asks you ‘where do you belong’ they do not mean geographically. They mean what congregation you attend. Church affiliation is probably bigger here than in many other places.”
