Roaring Success When ‘Brightly Shining’ Premieres in Sweden

The film adaptation of Ingvild H. Rishøi’s acclaimed novel Brightly Shining premieres in Swedish theaters today, November 21st.

The film instantly entered Swedish daily newspaper Dagens Nyheter’s critics list at #5. The newspaper also gave the film a glowing review:

“Loving and gritty. The Christmas story Brightly Shining shines like sparklers in the dark. […] Norwegian author Ingvild H. The film is produced by Motlys and directed by Ida Sagmo Tvedte, who also has written the script alongside Ingvild H. Rishøi.
