‘The Unburied’ Published in Germany Today

The Unburied, the second novel in Ulrika Rolfsdotter’s Annie Ljung series, is being published in Germany today, December 11th, 2024.

Two teenage girls are found dead on the beach of the mythical Lake Bålsjön, while a third girl’s life is hanging by a thread. Social worker Annie Ljung and rookie investigator Sara Emilsson delve into the case, while rumors of a serial killer begin swirling around town. Soon, Annie and Sara find themselves unraveling dark and haunting secrets, all the while trying to understand wether the main suspect, a local teenage boy, could really be capable of the evil he is accused of. Inspired by local crimes and folklore, The Unburied is a suggestive suspense novel about vulnerable children, guilt and suppressed trauma.
