Theater Adaptation of ‘Brightly Shining’ Lauded in Norwegian Magazine
The stage adaptation of Ingvild H. Rishøi’s acclaimed novel Brightly Shining has garnered glowing praise from the esteemed theatre magazine Norsk Shakespeare Tidsskrift:
“The novel translates well to the stage. […] Emma Caroline Deichmann and Madeleine Brandtzæg Nilsen, as the sisters Ronja and Melissa, carry the show. They portray hope and despair, joy, dreams, grief and hardship with power and conviction, transforming Brightly Shining into a vibrant experience.”
Directed by Maria Drangeid, the play runs from November 8th to December 30th at Trøndelag Theatre.
